Services
The
Community Centre Can also offer a range of services to help your
group run from advice to making a web site or web page for your
group to advertising and running your committee. The following services
are available, it is mainly free but there may be some charge for
materials and possibly staff costs depending on the time needed
to carry out the task etc.
Advertising
and Marketing
We can help you in being able to design and produce Posters, Leaflet's,
Business cards, etc. all of which will hopefully attract more people
to use your services and bring more people into our centre. Using
any kind of advertising is a good way of being able to show funders
that you are actively seeking to ensure that your project/group
is known throughout the community and that the services are accessible
to all. it also gives people the chance to find out more about your
group before joining and this hopefully will make people feel more
comfortable and therefore more likely to attend your group and give
them the confidence to get in contact so they can find out more.
Advice
fundraising, funding, policy and procedures, research/surveying
(questionnaire design) and insurance. The HCA are fortunate enough
to have a full time centre manager who frequently attends training
courses and receives a lot of information on the above and so it
is worth getting in contact to try and find out about any recent
developments. Every group that works in the centre has an impact
so it's in our benefit to ensure that your work is safe and that
risk is minimized as far as practically possible.
Training
and support
We can help you find who is here to help you, where can you get
free training and what training would be helpful to your group.
In some cases we will be able to provide your group with documents
such as procedures that will help until training can be found, as
we cannot give direct training.
