The Centre has the following rooms available for Hire
Main
Hall, 9m x 16m; capacity is 100 standing and 70 seated
The main hall is bright and light with large windows that
look out onto the Hangleton Park and the Hangleton Wildlife
garden. It is on the ground floor and has doors that lead
out onto the patio area. The main kitchen is accessible through
a hatch in the hall, where food and drink can be served.
There are 100 chairs available and 10 tables kept in a store
cupboard accessible from the hall.

Playgroup
Hall, 10m x 5m; 40 standing 30 seated
The play group hall is a self contained area of the ground
floor of the centre. It has a small kitchenette and there
is also access to a small outside play area for young children.
The room is light bright and warm. The room is a large rectangular
shape and has a small area just off to the side.

Meeting
room 1, 3m x 5m; 8 seated round tables, 12 sat in circle
This room is situated on the ground floor and is the smaller
of the two meeting rooms but has a large white board and is
close to the HaKIT room. It also opens out into the park and
is a good room to use for small group training
sessions, family mediation groups and informal gatherings.

The
John Whittington Room, 3.5m x 5.9m; 16 seated round tables 20
sat in a circle
This room is the larger of the two meeting rooms which is
bright and although there is no white board in this room, even
when seated round tables there is plenty of space for our flip
charts. If powered point presentations are needed we can accommodate
groups of 8 and we also have the opportunity to clear the room
completely for children's music sessions and large group discussions/meetings

Tiny
Tim's Soft adventure play room, 3 levels 25 children
Tiny Tim's is a play room which has a ball pool and three
levels of soft climbing frame with bash bags, crawl tubes,
slides and a seating area for adults. The room is bright and
light and allows your children to play safely, encouraging
them to develop physical motor skills and also helps tire
them out in time for bed!
There is a hatch which opens up from the main kitchen into
the soft room so you can get tea, coffee and drinks for the
children. You can drop in during the week 9-5 to play for
a pound and you can also book the soft room for exclusive
use and weekend parties.

Hangleton Holistics Treatment Room
Situated on the ground floor this room is run by a not for profit
organisation and aims to provide low cost therapy and beauty treatments
to the local community.

HaKIT
Computer Suite, 8 people
The HaKIT computer suite is used for training courses and
computer drop in sessions. The room is managed and run by the
Hangleton & Knoll Project and can be used by 8 learners at
a time. Previous courses offered include Microsoft Word, Publisher
and Excel as well as internet and digital photography.

HaKIT also provides wireless internet throughout the Community Centre building.

Hangleton
Community Recourse Room, 1 - 3people
The Community Resource Room was funded by The Capital Learning
Fund to provide access to information for residents on issues
affecting their life. It is a small space and is suitable
for meeting community workers on an individual basis e.g
housing officers or the community safety officer and also
provides a private workspace for community groups to organise
their activities, produce publicity materials and get access
to resources to help with the management of their group.
